RIP: Julie Strain (1962 – 2021)

In memoriam.

Penthouse Pet, Heavy Metal pin-up, and the indisputable — and unashamed — Queen of the Bs.

Amazonian ultra-babe Julie Strain was all of this and more.

From her tour-de-force performances in Jim Wynorski’s Sorceress (1995) and David DeCoteau’s Blonde Heaven (1995), to her vivacious, ballsy, and scene-stealing work with Andy Sidaris, whatever Strain appeared in or on was an instant win in our book; a film, poster or piece of art bolstered by her mesmeric presence alone.

Here at The Schlock Pit, we’re extremely saddened to learn of Ms. Strain’s passing and wish to extend our sympathies to her family, friends, and fans. We, like you, thought she was fabulous.

Our flag flies at half mast.
